Germany: V- price 2.10 €/ kg (range 2.10 – 2.10 €/kg)The weekly slaughter numbers were slightly lower at 772,794 pigs ( previous week 774,019 ), and the slaughter weights fell to 98.0 kg . Pre-registrations have fallen to 258,200 pigs (previous week 265,700) . The ISN auction on Tue 28th11 2023 brought a price of €2.25/kg on average for the animals sold. Range ranges from 2.23 -2.26 €/kg. The V price has been set at €2.10/kg in a range of €2.10 - €2.10/kg for the period from November 30th, 2023 to December 6th, 2023. ASF : As of November 14, 2023, 5,583 ASF-infected wild boars have been officially confirmed in Brandenburg, Saxony and Mecklenburg. In October 2023 only 8 ASF cases were reported. Market and price development in selected competing countries: In Denmark, the comparable prices remained unchanged at €1.91/kg in the 48th week of 2023. In Belgium, prices remained at a comparable price of €2.09/kg in the 48th week of 2023.In the Netherlands , the quotations in the 48th week of 2023 will remain unchanged with comparable prices of €2.05/kg . In France/Brittany prices have fallen slightly to €1.76/kg . The slaughter numbers again reach an average of 362,870 pigs with a slaughter weight of 96.41 kg. In Italy, the prices were reset by 1.5 ct/kg in the 48th week of 2023. When supply is tight, demand decreases somewhat. In Spain, prices will be slightly reduced in the 48th week of 2023 with a comparable €2.14/ kg. The export business has declined significantly. In the USA/IOWA, producer prices fell again significantly to 1.14 €/kg. In July 23, the prices were still at €2/kg. The number of battles has become somewhat smaller. The cold storage facilities are no longer quite as full and remain below the previous year's level. Die Teilstückepreise bleiben stabil. Für den Frontmonat Dez.-23 notieren die Börsenkurse bei 1,37 €/kg. Für den Monat Apr.2024 werden 1,70 €/kg gehandelt.

Brasilien: Die Erzeugerpreise haben im Durchschnitt auf 1,63 €/kg etwas nachgegeben. Die Nachfrage im Inland hat sich gefangen. Der Export ist leicht zurückgegangen.

China: Die Preise sind bei 2,60 €/kg stehen geblieben. Der übliche Nachfrageschwung vor dem chinesischen Neujahrsfest läßt zu wünschen übrig; die Jan.-2024-Kurse sind auf 2,51 €/kg gefallen. Der Schweinebestand ist nach Ansicht der Regierung noch zu hoch, um gewinnbringend zu wirtschaften; insbesondere der Sauenbestand soll wieder abgestockt werden. Demnächst erfolgen wieder staatliche Vorratskäufe

Fazit:  Das Vorweihnachtsgeschäft läuft bei der Verarbeitung auf Hochtouren, reicht aber noch nicht für eine Preisanhebung aus. Die Schlachtzahlen stabilisieren sich auf über 750.000 je Woche. Die Voranmeldungen bleiben auf begrenzt gestiegenem Niveau. Die Preise entwickeln eine gewisse Spannung nach oben, der Durchbruch gelingt jedoch noch nicht
