On the occasion of the latest WASDE Edition, the U.S. Department of agriculture has updated his quarterly data for the pork market in the United States.
After the plague year 2014 , the U.S. pork production has increased significantly in the first two quarters of the year 2015. Slaughter weights and higher numbers help utilise the range rd 6% over the previous year. The increase of in domestic consumption, at least in the same order of magnitude is encouraging. The export could be increased as a result of the strong U.S. dollar only by 2%.
For the 2 half of 2015 assumes a further increase in the production volume. However, sales in the same way will rise with the ending barbecue season. The estimates amount to a nearly constant consumption. This is unusual for the season. A 1% increase in exports should contribute to market equilibrium.
For the first two quarters of 2016 the production volumes will remain as usual lower, seasonal but above last year's levels. Also declining domestic consumption is set to a further increase of exports.
