The Fertilizer Ordinance (DüV) specifies the requirements for good professional practice in fertilization and regulates how risks associated with fertilization - such as nutrient losses - are to be reduced. It also regulates lock-up periods for the spreading of liquid manure in winter and requirements for the nutrient balance. The current version has been in force since June 2, 2017.
