The World Trade Organization (WTO) is based in Geneva. It is an association of 162 member states with the aim of achieving the freest possible trade. Together with the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund, it is one of the organizations that regulates international trade. The WTO's tasks include coordinating the economic policies of individual countries and settling disputes.
