Foreigners Buy Largest Net Japan Stocks In 4 Yrs In July
TOKYO (Dow Jones)--Foreign investors were net buyers of Japanese stocks in July on the Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya bourses with the largest monthly amount in more than four years, the Tokyo Stock Exchange said Thursday.
Foreigners bought net Y1.690 billion in the month, the largest net buying since March 1999 when they bought net Y1.848 trillion. This marks the fourth straight month of net buying.
The figures comprise Y8.327 trillion of buy orders against Y6.637 trillion of sell orders.
In July, the benchmark Nikkei 225 Stock Average topped the psychologically important 10000 level for the first time since August 2002.
Among local investors, the TSE said individuals sold a net Y85.28 billion in July, while investment trusts sold a net Y127.03 billion.
Corporations sold a net Y102.95 billion and financial institutions sold 1.186 trillion, the TSE said.
In the week ended Aug. 1, foreigners bought net Y240.33 billion, marking the 16th consecutive week of net buying. This is the longest streak since the second week of May in 1999.
Hallo!
Könnte es sein, dass intelligente Investoren verkaufen? Gute Performance von Nikkei wird jetzt an "Ausländer" verkauft.
Japaner waren schon immer gut in Marketing.
