Metastock: Important message for all Reuters DataLink clients
Dear Valued Client:
On Sunday, July 25, 2010 maintenance work is being done on the Reuters DataLink systems and there will be the possibility of intermittent Reuters DataLink outages from 9:00am to 11:00 am EDT.
What This Means
All users of Reuters DataLink data may experience intermittent outages during this time.
No data will be lost or dropped during these outages, but if you are downloading data, the connection might be lost, and if you are opening a chart, the chart might take longer or time-out while opening.
Options
If you need to work on your charts during this maintenance period, we highly recommend completing the download of the data that you need prior to 9:00am EDT July 25, 2010. Here is information on how to download data to a local file (http://www.equis.com/customer/support/kb/faq.aspx?fc=453).
If you are opening a Data on Demand chart and it times out while loading, click the chart refresh button. The outages, if any, should only last for a few minutes at a time.
