Reuters DataLink Service Interruption

Important message for all Reuters DataLink EOD clients.

Dear valued client:
On Saturday, January 27, 2007 there will be a planned Reuters DataLink outage from 9:00am to 9:00pm eastern time. The purpose of this outage is to test all of our emergency back-up systems.

What this means:
All users of Reuters DataLink data will UNABLE to access any of their Data On Demand Reuters DataLink data; therefore they will NOT be able to open any charts using Data On Demand data or download Reuters DataLink data. However, any data that has already been downloaded to a local file, can still be accessed.

When the connection has come back up, all data will be available. No data will be lost or dropped during this outage.

Options:
While the Data On Demand data will not be available, any data that the user has already downloaded will be available. If you need to work on your charts during this outage period, we highly recommend downloading the data that you need before 9:00am EST, January 27, 2007
