With the official confirmation that the lock down will be extended again, uncertainty is growing again, especially in the market for processing potatoes. There is little interest in buying and the factories continue to largely only purchase the contract tubers. The Reka lowered the quotations for the processing grades accordingly today, lower prices are also evident in France....

Expert Opinion: 

The mood remains vragile. Processing potatoes are in weak demand and the extension of the lockdown should not change that. Food products are facing competition from France and the new potatoes are also finding their way onto the shelves, but there is still solid demand here.
