China cancels order - wheat weaker on the CBoT

Wheat contracts on the Paris stock exchange were able to break away from the weak specifications from overseas and rose moderately. The May date increased by 3.50 euros/ton to 188.50 euros per ton. The Chicago stock exchange was volatile on yesterday's trading day. After the contracts had to give way in the middle of the week, prices were able to rise again in the first third of trading. However, as the day progressed, the bears prevailed again and caused losses. The mood was depressed by the weak export figures as well as the reports from China and Egypt. Although US exports were in line with expectations, compared to the last four weeks, exports were weaker and missed the average by almost 16%. Around 368,300 tons were loaded. The result was also below the four-week average (-10%). It was announced from China on Thursday that the booking for 130,000 tonnes had collapsed without giving any reasons. Egypt also canceled its tender, which had a noticeable impact on trading in the afternoon.
