Buying interest in animals ready for slaughter remains dynamic and the supply of pigs remains manageable. Overall, however, there is a balanced balance of power on the market. For price increases to occur, meat prices would probably first have to rise further and thus provide stimulus. The market as a whole is heading into the weekend with a stable outlook. At today's auction on the Internet Pig Exchange, 1,125 pigs in 7 lots were sold at an average price of 2.28 euros/kg SG. (-2 cents compared to the auction on Tuesday) The trading range was 2.25 to 2.30 euros/kg SG.
