Fourth quarter of 2013/14 brought the decision
(AMI) In the past financial year 2013/14, the food industry in Germany has processed total again some more potatoes than before, with some food manufacturers in the processing of potatoes zurückführten something. It especially chilled potato specialities accounted for over 42% dry products, less than 12% on potato chips, 30% on TK products, mainly French fries, and almost 16% on other products.

No place in the market for contract-free processing potatoes. Alternative recycling opportunities barely exist. Exports of significant quantities of no end in sight. The situation on the potato market is not better, and the parties are under a constant stress test. Quality problems overcome still happen and drive some providers to despair. But often, special lists are covered by contracts. Whether these are however good, is to evaluate very differently depending on the version. The results provide time for losses, times pretty good revenues. Some will probably come in the next few months on the bench. Who this year do not can improve its unsatisfactory arrangements will either speculate and hope for higher prices in 2014/15 or but decouple sales backup and price protection.
