Chicago Board of Trade: Pit-traded agricultural contracts will close at noon CST
(1800 GMT), but mini-sized ag contracts will close at 12:30 p.m. CST (1830 GMT).
Financial and stock-index contracts will close at their normal times. In
electronic trading, metals contracts will close at 12:30 p.m. CST (1830 GMT),
but all other electronic trading will close at normal times. Overnight
electronic trading will be closed for agricultural and metals contracts; all
other overnight trading will observe normal schedules.
Chicago Mercantile Exchange: Commodity and GSCI products will close at noon CST
(1800 GMT), and commodity options will close at 12:02 p.m. CST (1802 GMT).
Foreign exchange, interest rate and equity products close at regular times both
on the trading floors and Globex.
International Petroleum Exchange: All contracts will close at 1800 GMT.
Kansas City Board of Trade: Wheat futures will close at noon CST (1800 GMT), and
wheat options will close at 12:10 p.m. CST (1810 GMT).
Minneapolis Grain Exchange: Wheat futures will close at 12:10 p.m. CST (1810
GMT), and wheat options will close at 12:20 p.m. CST (1820 GMT).
New York Mercantile Exchange: Energy markets, including Nymex ClearPort
clearing, close at 1 p.m. EST (1800 GMT). In metals, aluminum and palladium
trading will close at noon EST (1700 GMT), copper and silver close at 12:05 p.m.
EST (1705 GMT), and platinum and gold close at 12:10 p.m. EST (1710 GMT).
Electronic trading will be closed.
FRIDAY, DEC. 31
Chicago Board of Trade: Pit-traded agricultural contracts will be closed.
However, pit-traded financial contracts will trade until noon CST (1800 GMT) and
stock-index futures will close at 3:15 p.m. CST (2115 GMT).
Chicago Mercantile Exchange: Floor-traded commodity and GSCI products will be
closed, while foreign exchange and interest rate products will close at noon CST
(1800 GMT). Equity products will observe regular hours. On Globex, foreign
exchange, interest rate and equity products will close at 3:15 p.m. CST (2115
GMT).
International Petroleum Exchange: All contracts will close at 1300 GMT.
Kansas City Board of Trade: Wheat futures and options will be closed.
London International Financial Futures and Options Exchange: All contracts will
close at 1230 GMT.
Minneapolis Grain Exchange: Wheat futures and options will be closed.
New York Board of Trade: Agricultural products will not trade. In financial
products, the New York day session will close at 1 p.m. EST (1800 GMT).
New York Mercantile Exchange: All trading will be closed.
Winnipeg Commodity Exchange: Trading will close early at noon CST (1800 GMT).
SUNDAY, JAN. 2
Chicago Board of Trade: Overnight electronic trading will be open.
Chicago Mercantile Exchange: Globex electronic trading opens at 5 p.m. CST (2300
GMT).
New York Mercantile Exchange: Electronic trading reopens at 7 p.m. EST (0000
GMT).
Kansas City Board of Trade: Electronic trading resumes at normal hours.
MONDAY, JAN. 3
International Petroleum Exchange: All trading will be closed.
London International Financial Futures and Options Exchange: Commodity products
will not trade.
London Metal Exchange: All trading will be closed.
New York Board of Trade: For financial products, both the New York evening
session and the Dublin session will be closed. The New York day session will
open early at 8:05 a.m. EST (1305 GMT). All other products will trade regular
hours.
Winnipeg Commodity Exchange: All trading will be closed.
The following exchanges will observe normal trading schedules: Chicago Board of
Trade, Chicago Mercantile Exchange, Kansas City Board of Trade and the New York
Mercantile Exchange.
