Within a few months, the opinion of wheat speculators in Chicago has changed rapidly. From net long positions at the end of the reporting week on 07.11.2017, there were now 125,085 net short positions. As a result, prices will remain under pressure, which should not change much in the course of the current financial year.
The corn shippers in Chicago are also seeing a steady increase in net short positions. A plus of 2,861 contracts resulted in 205,624 net short positions at the end of the reference week. The courses in Chicago remain under pressure.
