European traders log import transactions with a total volume of 250,000 tons maize in the week up to the 21.03.17. Thus corn imports totaled 2016/17 to 7.78 million tons versus 10,39 million tonnes in the current marketing year in the marketing year 2015/16.
Corn exports were reported in the amount of 12,000 tons. They totaled in the current marketing year due to the correction in the past week to 1.74 million tons.
