Institutional investors increased their net long stock of futures and options on Euronext wheat from 44,705 lots to 64,860 lots last week. This is shown by the report recently published by Euronext. The group of non-commercial participants, ie investment funds, banks, insurance companies and the like, continues to bet on rising prices.
The "Commercial Participants" group, including Hedger, increased the stock of net short positions from 112,163 lots to 129,872 lots compared to the previous week. This group has a share of 64.15% in the open contract portfolio.
The non-commercial participants, on the other hand, hold a significantly smaller share of the open contract portfolio of 16.44%.
