In France, the summer barley seed by March 20 to 91% is completed. This reports the French analyst FranceAgriMer in its weekly progress report. Mostly warm and dry weather conditions allowed the strong progress to the previous week last week, when 41% of the area were ordered.
91% of winter wheat stocks received the top rating of "good - excellent". That is a decrease of 1% the previous week. Also the winter barley ratings deteriorated slightly. By March 20, 85% were given the top rating versus 87% in the previous week.
