Russia could export 32 million tonnes of wheat

SovEcon has raised its export estimate 2017/18 for Russia's grain by an impressive 3.3 million tonnes. The wheat content in it is 2.5 million tonnes and now stands at 32 million tonnes.
Maize transports are also rising by 300,000 tonnes to 6 million tonnes, barley exports are estimated to be 500,000 tonnes higher and now reach 4 million tonnes.
This export estimate for wheat is now slightly above the last USDA estimate, which still amounted to 31.5 million tonnes. The males had estimated the USDA at 6.5 million tons.
In the last marketing year, Russia had exported 27.8 million tonnes of wheat and 5.5 million tonnes of maize.
Russia's wheat harvest is now 47% completed and 13 million hectares are harvested. Wet weather had delayed the harvest in some regions.
