In Ukraine, the sowing of summer cereal will begin in a few days. Total expects the Ministry of agriculture last year, when an area has been ordered by 7.0 million hectares, an area of 7.2 million hectares for the different cultures of the start of the sowing campaign due to favourable weather conditions began on February 24. The cereal area (summer and winter cereals) is located at about 14.4 million hectares. The record amount of 66 million tons of grain was harvested last year. Of which 28 million tons of corn and 26 million tons of wheat. The Agriculture Department expects exports by 41 million tons of grain in the current marketing year 2016/17 (July - June). So far, 29 million tons of grain were exported.
