The US Department of Agriculture increased the ratings of the corn stocks in the weekly report published yesterday. 65% of the stocks received the top rating "good to excellent" (previous week: 64%). Analysts expected unchanged ratings.
The US corn harvest is 28% finished. Analysts expected 31%. In the previous week corn harvest was done at 22% and 44% at the same time last year. The 5-year average is 47%.
