- June 2023: EU-KOM: cuts rapeseed harvest estimate compared to the previous month
In its most recent estimate of the EU rapeseed harvest for 2023, the EU Commission has reduced the higher result from the previous month to the current 19.9 million tonnes. In a year-on-year comparison, there is only a slight increase. Rapeseed consumption is reduced to 24.94 million tons. The high import volumes of the previous year at 7.2 million t are expected to decrease to 5.8 million t in the 2023/24 marketing year
