- GDT auction in Jan. 2022: +4.6% on average
The January 2nd, 2022 Global Dairy Trade (GDT) auction closed at the beginning of the year with a clearly positive average result. Surcharges for whole and skimmed milk powder as well as butter set the tone. The throughput volumes remained at the same high level, but fell significantly short of the usual previous year's values.
