(AMI - 15.05.2014) In the neighbouring European countries seems, like in Germany, the pork price to have bogged down. The cool and changeable weather causes, is the meat market of impulslosen and weak sales, and nearly claimed meat prices in many countries.
In France, there is still a certain backwater on weaned pigs due to the last feiertagsbeding significantly reduced activity of the battle. The markedly higher slaughter weights (+ 1 kg / animal) last but not least show this. For export, the French goods is not competitive, so the argument of the domestic industry of the battle. Accordingly, the tendency was here most recently even slightly lower until a maximum stable. Belgian pig fatteners are unhappy about the current market situation. On the one hand, not too many pigs available are in continued brisk demand. On the other hand is little hope on rising pork prices, since last slightly weaker prices for salmon and bellies of the day were in the meat trade. For this purpose but also Germany blamed, where block seemingly any increase in the abattoirs. Balanced market conditions with a sufficient supply of pigs and shrinking weights are reported from Spain. Also here is reported from the perspective of the industrial meat seller at best stagnating meat prices. In Italy, there were least significant difficulty to agree on a share price. Meanwhile supply and demand confront but almost balanced, the price trend is unchanged until slightly firm.
