According to the Crop Report, US farmers have completed 79 percent of their winter wheat sowing. They are making somewhat faster progress than the average over the past five years. Heavy rainfall has been announced for the weekend in the previously very dry growing areas in the Great Plains. On the American market, the bad mood on the export front continues to weigh on price development. However, there are slight price gains in electronic trading pre-market today.
