The prices of CBoT soybean futures have been falling for four sessions now, because demand from China is slackening noticeably.
After China's anti-dumping action, there is now uncertainty in the US about how soybean exports continue. Traders in Far East Asia, however, expect that will soon be clarified, because China relies on US beans and the crush margins in China are profitable.
Since April 10, the USDA has not registered any new soybean purchases from China. The last trade in "Unknown" was reported on April 11th. Yesterday, the US import inspection for the past week reported the sale of 470,817 tons. Market expectations were between 300,000 and 600,000 tonnes.
