A largely balanced development between a relaxed supply of live meat and a moderate demand for meat can be observed, a trend that could continue. The opposite cannot currently be determined
ZMP Live Expert Opinion
The reduced supply of livestock is fully sufficient for the slowdown in demand due to inflation. Regionally there are overhangs; in other areas the market is broadly balanced. The barbecue activities that are usual at this time of year are unsatisfactory. The easing in gastronomy did not meet expectations either. Despite the unsatisfactory development, fundamental deterioration is not expected for the time being.
