Milcherzeugung erholt sich in anderen Teilen der Welt.

Nach einem kräftigen Anstieg der Milcherzeugung in den Monaten August und September um 8% erwarten Beobachter jetzt ein langsameres Wachstum für den weiteren Verlauf des Milchwirtschaftsjahres, das in Neuseeland am 31. Mai 2014 zu Ende geht. Der saisonale Höhepumkt ist um die Monatswende von Oktober zu November erreicht worden, dabei sollen sich zuletzt die Zuwachsraten schon deutlich verringert haben. Eine durchschnittliche Zunahme von 5% im laufenden Wirtschaftsjahr bedeutet eine zusätzliche Million Tonnen an Milch oder rund 150.000 t mehr an Milchprodukten für den Weltmarkt.
