The potatoes on the futures exchange EEX in Leipzig went out of trading yesterday with a clear plus. During the day, the 19 euro mark was tested again and again. The June potatoes are also picking up again, closing well with 19.70 euros / dt. Crop losses in the Netherlands, rising export demand and the fact that fewer potatoes are expected overseas, are attracting the market. The Kasaindex published yesterday attracts after two constant quotations by 20 cent to 14,20 euro / dt. The price of Reka improves by 0.25 Euro / dt. Fontane and Challenger are also rated better. In Belgium, up to 15 Euro / dt are paid for varieties with good baking properties, but the prices of Fiwap and Belgapom remain unchanged this week. In particular, for Innovator and Agria, premiums are paid for exports to Great Britain. In Germany, the market is balanced. The demand of the industry is served, but currently there are hardly any additional games outside the contract goods on offer. Especially in Lower Saxony, producers are waiting with the sale of their stocks in the clear expectation of rising prices next year.Food products continue to be balanced. The quotations run upside down. Occasionally regional margins increase at the lower end. The Christmas business is still going on and market observers are also expected to see brisk demand for the coming week. The demand for free goods varies by region. While a quiet market trend is reported in East Germany, demand is brisk in parts of northern and western Germany.
