ZMP Live Expert Opinion

The pig market is on a stabilization course under corona conditions. Most of the live offer can be resumed by the restricted slaughtering and processing facilities. Meat sales in the catering and barbecue sector have improved significantly. The third country export is ongoing. Meat prices have risen. Whenever there is no day of slaughter, Pentecost holidays are generally classified as consumption-friendly. The future prospects can no longer be assessed pessimistically in view of the start of the grill phase.
