Pig prices for 43/44 KW-2016

ISN-Internet auction at the di, 25.10.2016 2.575 pigs were offered. The average price amounted to €1.54 / kg in a range of 1.53-€1.55 / kg. The supernatant is 53.2%.

General market and price developments:

The battle figures in Germany are the typical seasonal increase effect with battle figures above the 1 million units Brand under proof. Offer amounts are in Spain and  foundItaly. In the meat market, higher quality pieces are difficult to settle, while less valuable as belly are rather scarce. The export boom has passed his peak after China.

Current market situation in major production areas:

Denmark: Danish pig prices were in the 43 KW -2.7 ct / kg reduced. The battle figures are 2.7% below last year's level. For the upcoming 44 KW-2016 (31.10-05.11) is the base price unchanged maintain.

In France/Bretagne was the quote   (27.10) withdrawn to - 3.6 ct / kg. The reported battle for all France figures with 359.782 (previous week 360.151 before last week 360.468) piece continuously in the lower average.

Germany : The reported battle figures of the past week are with 1.070.146 (previous week 1.046.456 before last week 887.698) continue over the 1 million PCs. brand.
